We operate our own pressure treatment plant where we can treat timber Tanatone, and treatment on site means quick dispatch of orders.

Heat Treated Timber.

We can also offer a contract treatment service for any customers who wishes to have their own timber treated. We carry stocks Heat treated softwood (56/30) fully certified which can be supplied in full or part packs according to your requirements.

Any specialised product such as hardwood, special moldings veneered boards, etc can be supplied to order.

Timber is loaded into
treatment vessel. Initial vacuum is applied
- timber cells evacuated
of air. Vacuum held.

2.
Cylinder is flooded under vacuum with TANALITH E® wood preservative.

3.
Hydraulic pressure is
applied, forcing the
preservative deep into
the structure of the timber.

4.
Final vacuum extracts
excess preservative solution, which is pumped back to storage.

5.
Low pressure inside the
timber draws in surface
solution when vented
to atmosphere. Treated timber is left to dry.
